SECTION: 25 05 11 CYBERSECURITY FOR FACILITY RELATED CONTROL SYSTEMS (ESS)
System Owner Requirements:
- For ESS (Intrusion Detection), Contact the JBLM, Department of Emergency Services (DES), Physical Security Office at usarmy.jblm.imcom.list.des-physical-security@army.mil
- Proposed connections to the centralized ESS/ICIDS require the System Owner at DES be notified and must also provide approval of any system components that will be integrated.
- If the determination is made that the ESS/ICIDS is NOT part the DES centralized ESS/ICIDS, all submittals from UFGS 25 05 11 are required and must be provided to the gaining unit of the system to achieve an ATO for the system.

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Electronic Security System is an Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS) generation V. The ICIDS is an essential part of the Physical Security system. The system is a Department of the Army approved system of record. The ICIDS is monitored in a contractor manned Central Monitoring Station and is critical to the dispatch of law enforcement in response to real world alarms.
