1.2 SUBMITTALS If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of 01 57 19.01 20 is included within that section.  
1.2 SUBMITTALS As applicable based on project scope, also incorporate all 'S' submittals at SD-11 under SD-01 Preconstruction Submittals so the Government can verify legal and policy compliance of proposed materials prior to work commencing.

1.3.1 CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED WOOD Ensure materials are FSC certified, whenever practicable based on availability and cost.  SFI or other credible certification can be used when FSC certified products are not available.

Add the following in place of the bracketed certification language:
Provide products and documentation meeting the requirements at Section [01 33 29 SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING][01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS] paragraph SUSTAINABLY CERTIFIED WOOD.

2.6 BICYLCE RACKS Revise language as follows Design bicycle racks in accordance with manufacturer's standards and to meet design conditions indicated. Locate as shown on the drawings. Provide powder coat finish in color as selected from manufacturer's standards. Racks must incorporate elements that will allow for the locking of the frame and at least one wheel of a bike with any kind of lock, especially high security "u-locks." The spacing between racks must be a minimum of 610 mm 24 inches.
 
Racks must be designed in such a way that they will guide the wheel, not bind it. "Wheel benders" (racks with vertical slats) or any other similar designs are not acceptable. Racks must have at least two points of contact to support a bike leaning against it, and not include any moving or stationary parts with the potential for scraping the paint on a bike when parked.
