1.2 SUBMITTALS If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of 01 57 19.01 20 is included within that section.  
1.2 SUBMITTALS At SD-11, delete the following unless using them to refer exclusively to LEED credit requirements that differ from federal sustainable design requirements: Reduced VOC's for Furniture

1.2 SUBMITTALS At SD-11, change "Certified Sustainably Certified door panels; S" and "Bio-Based Content of Furniture" to: Certified Sustainably Harvested Wood Components; S

1.3.1 CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED WOOD Ensure materials are FSC certified, whenever practicable based on availability and cost.  SFI or other credible certification can be used when FSC certified products are not available.  
1.3.2 INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS Specify requirements and make selections to comply with ASHRAE Standard 189.1, section 8.4.2 or 8.5.2.   
2.2 PRODUCT SUSTAINABILITY CRITERIA Delete "For products in this section, where applicable and to extent allowed by
performance criteria, provide and document the following:" The language at 01 33 29/01 57 19.01 20 allows for exceptions based on performance criteria, as long as adequate justification per the applicable legal or policy requirement is provided on HJB Form 225.
 
2.2.1 ENERGY EFFICIENT EQUIPMENT If 01 33 29 is not included in the specifications, instead reference 01 57 19.01 20  and ensure it includes added sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of that section.  
2.2.2 REDUCED VOC'S FOR FURNITURE If 01 33 29 is not included in the specifications, instead reference 01 57 19.01 20  and ensure it includes added sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of that section.
 
Retitle paragraph as:

2.1 MATERIALS Add the following: Virgin materials shall not contain wood from endangered wood species unless the trade of such wood conforms to the requirements of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
