1.3. SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING  If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language is included within that section.
 
Ensure 'low-emitting materials' and 'biobased content' are among the incorporated requirements listed at paragraph 1.3 "Sustainability Reporting".
 
1.4 SUBMITTALS If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language is included within that section.

PART 2 PRODUCTS Specify requirements and make selections to comply with ASHRAE Standard 189.1, section 8.4.2 or 8.5.2. If interior sealants, paints, or coatings will be used under this section, ensure their compliance with this standard as well by including appropriate certification and submittal requirements, either here or in a related section.  
2.1 PRODUCT SUSTAINABILITY CRITERIA Create this section and the following subsections. Renumber all succeeding sections accordingly.  
2.1.1 REDUCE VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOC) (LOW-EMITTING MATERIALS)

2.1 VINYL COMPOSITION TILE THROUGH 2.5 SOLID VINYL TILE Preference must be given to biobased non-carpet floor coverings under Section 9002 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act. Rubber and vinyl flooring shall not be used in JBLM projects without adequate justification for exception per FSRIA 9002, submitted on HJB Form 225 per the instructions on the form. Use of such materials to repair existing installs where product match is required is acceptable but must still be documented on the 225 submittal.
