Note that the UFGS cancelled this section in 2018 and replaced it with 03 01 00 REHABILITATION OF CONCRETE. Only use this older version for contracts that already have the older 03 01 30 incorporated in the specifications. For all other contracts, including new ones, use 03 01 00.

1.4 SUBMITTALS

If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of 01 57 19.01 20 is included within that section.

3.1 Evaluation and Analysis

Add the following paragraph:

Any concrete mix used for repairs or modifications to structures within the Joint Base Lewis McChord Historic District which is exposed to view shall be tinted so as to approximate the color of the existing concrete adjacent.  This guidance also applies to concrete used for miscellaneous concrete paving and sidewalks.

 

 

Design Requirements

Any concrete mix used for repairs or modifications to structures within the Joint Base Lewis McChord Historic District which is exposed to view shall be tinted so as to approximate the color of the existing adjacent concrete. This guidance also applies to concrete used for miscellaneous paving repair (section 32 13 13.03) and sidewalks (section 32 16 13).
