The UFGS cancelled this section in 2016 and replaced with 02 82 19.13 10. Only use this section for old contracts that have 02 82 19.00 10 incorporated in their specifications. For all other contracts, including new contracts, use 02 82 19.13 10.

 

1.4 Submittals; SD-03 Product Data

Add the following descriptions:

Expendable Supplies

 

A description of the materials, equipment and expendable supplies required; including Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for material brought onsite to perform the work.

 

Qualifications

 

A report providing evidence of qualifications and designating responsibilities for personnel and laboratories. 

1.4 Submittals; SD-06 Test Reports

Add the following descriptions:

Licenses, Permits, and Notifications

 

The continuously monitored pressure differential log, as specified.  Certification that licenses, permits, and notifications have been obtained as required.

 

Sampling and Analysis

 

A log of the analytical results from sampling conducted during the abatement.  The log of results shall be kept current with project activities and shall be briefed to the Contracting Officer as analytical results are reported.

 

Abatement Report

 

Report written by the certified supervisor covering each element in 40 CFR 745, Section 227 (e) (10).

 

Design Requirements

Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) is committed to protect and conserve the environment. All maintenance, repair and construction work on the installation will comply with all applicable environmental policy, laws and regulations; identify potential sources of pollution and meet or exceed Army goals for prevention of pollution and minimize adverse environmental impacts.

 

 

Notes to Designers on Drawing Content

Provide LBP abatement plans as required to show locations of samples taken/location of hazardous materials. These may be attached to appropriate specification section with survey data or incorporated into the Contract drawings if complexity warrants. Forward any such survey documentation to the JBLM Public Works Environmental Division TSCA Coordinators, currently at Building 2012, Floor 3, Room 308 "D" or "F", (253) 966-1775, or 966-1776.
