Paragraph # and Title (if any) Note to Designer Change Text
1.3 SUBMITTALS If 01 33 29 is not incorporated in the specifications, change reference to 01 33 29 in this section to instead say 01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS and ensure the additional sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of 01 57 19.01 20 is included within that section.
1.3 SUBMITTALS  As applicable based on project scope, add the following under "SD-01 Preconstruction Submittals" and "SD-11 Closeout Submittals": Energy Efficient Equipment; S

Refrigerants (SNAP); S
2.4 AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT [NOTE: In the column to the right, select 01 33 29 when it is incorporated into the specifications, otherwise select 01 57 19.01 20 and ensure it includes added sustainable acquisition language at paragraphs "Submittals" and "Sustainable Acquisition" of that section]

Add the following:
Provide equipment and documentation in conformance with
Section [01 33 29 SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING][01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS] paragraph ENERGY EFFICIENT PRODUCTS. See https://sftool.gov/greenprocurement/green-produc./hvacmechanic./a>, https://www.energystar.gov/products?s=mega, and https://www.energy.gov/eere/femp/search-energy-efficient-products for more information.

Use only EPA Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program-approved refrigerants. Provide documentation in conformance with Section [01 33 29 SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING][01 57 19.01 20 SUPPLEMENTAL TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS] paragraph OZONE DEPLETING SUBSTANCES AND REFRIGERANTS WITH HIGH GLOBAL WARMING POTENTIALS. See https://www.epa.gov/snap/snap-substitutes-sector for more information.
2.8 AIR FILTERS Add to paragraph:
  1. Filters: 2" thick, 30% efficient, pleated throw-away type are standard filters. Use other types only for unique situations.
2.8.1 AIR FILTERS Add to paragraph: Filter Gauge: Provide filter gauges on filter banks. See DDC standards for requirement for separate device indicating pressure drop to control
2.11 DUCTWORK COMPONENTS Insert at end of paragraph
  1. Ductboard is not to be used.
2.11.2 Fibrous Glass Ductwork Replace paragraph with the change text Ductboard and specifically fibrous glass ductwork is not to be used in lieu of sheet metal ductwork.  Where ductboard or fibrous glass ductwork is shown on drawings use metal ductwork as specified in this section.
